ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman admits he has 'lots of irons in lots of fires' as he seeks to strengthen his squad before the transfer window closes next week.
The Reds have until Friday to add loan signings having already brought in defenders Matty Platt from Blackburn Rovers and Nick Anderton from Blackpool.
Coleman is still interested in adding to his defensive ranks while acquiring attacking reinforcements is also a priority.
And the Stanley chief hopes to have a new face in before Saturday's trip to Blackpool.
"We are still hoping to bring a couple in before Saturday, he said.
"We are looking at two strikers and we hope we can get those over the line."
He added: "We are still looking to strengthen in the centre half area as well, we want to have a good strong squad to take us through the season."
