Midfielder Scott Brown has become the latest member of the Stanley squad to sign a new deal.
The 33-year-old, who joined in 2016 from Grimsby Town, has committed his immediate future to the club after agreeing a new one-year deal.
Brown is now just nine matches short of a century for Stanley and will provide an experienced option for John Coleman in the middle of the park next season.
The boss said: “He’s a great lad to have around the place is Scotty.
“His enthusiasm is infectious. You can see that when he goes out on to the pitch, he makes a difference.
“We’re pleased to tie him down.
“It didn’t take long, Scotty was keen to stay and I’m pleased that it’s another one from last year’s squad that we’re going to be working with.”
