ROVERS goalkeeper Peter Enckelman has revealed tonight's opponents, MyPa-47, could hold the upper hand after playing four months of the new season in Finland.

But the 30-year-old was confident Mark Hughes' side had enough in their armoury to defeat the minnows.

He said: "The advantage they have is that they have played three or four months of their season, so they've got match fitness and sharpness.

"We should also have that, but it's not the same. We've only played three competitive games and they've had about 15.

"At the end of the day though, it's going to be all about us and how we play.

"If we do our job right then they won't stand a chance."

Enckelman played against MyPa-47 as a youngster in goal for his hometown team TPS Turku.

And he believes the Rovers faithful making the journey across to Finland tonight will be in for a friendly welcome from their hosts.

He said: "It's quite a small place so I don't think there will be any problems. There will be a friendly atmosphere, I'm sure the fans will all enjoy themselves.

"They usually don't get too many fans at a game, but I think they'll be looking at getting about 4,000 tonight."
