Nelson crashed to a 4-0 loss at home to Silsden in their second match of the new season.
Andy King got the ball rolling for the visitors after 22 minutes and Lee Riley doubled their lead just four minutes later.
Silsden added to their tally in the 83rd through Chris Simpson and Martin Packer rubbed salt into the wound with a fourth on the stroke of full-time.
