Blackburn Rovers fans still waiting to receive their season tickets have been reassured by the club that they will definitely arrive in time for Sunday's game with Arsenal.
An upgrade in technology on the cards has been blamed as the reason for the delay in delivery.
Simon Williams, Head of Commercial and Marketing, said: "We have had an encouraging response from supporters after we cut the average cost of an adult season ticket by 25% and most fans will have already received their new season tickets.
"The remaining cards will be sent out in plenty of time for the match against Arsenal this coming Sunday.
"We have upgraded the season ticket cards and the technology on these new encoded cards will enable us to learn more about our customers and thus allow us to offer an even better matchday experience in terms of special offers etc in the future."
