Bradley Dack has been named as the League One player of the year for 2017/18.

The Rovers attacker saw off competition of Nick Powell (Wigan Athletic) and Jack Marriott (Peterborough United) to win the accolade which was announced at the EFL awards in London.

It is the second time the 24-year-old was claimed the award, having done so in 2015/16 while at Gillingham.

Dack has enjoyed a stunning debut season at Ewood Park, scoring 16 times in League One to boost Rovers’ promotion hopes.

He had already been named in the League One team of the year, which also included David Raya in goal and Charlie Mulgrew in defence.

Dack and Mulgrew were also named in the EFL team of the year across all three divisions.

There was further success for Rovers who were also named as the AmazeReliase Family Club of the year for the EFL after being named as the League One winner earlier this month.
