LANCASHIRE batsman Stuart Law has revealed he is considering quitting first-class cricket - claiming it is getting tougher to cope with the demands of county cricket.
The veteran Australian's contract with the Red Rose outfit expires at the end of this season.
But as Lancashire prepare for this evening's day-night Natwest Pro40 Division One clash against Sussex, the 38-year-old admits he could well retire instead of signing a new contract extension.
"It's up in the air," Law said. "After a day's play, the body's in bits, rigor mortis sets in. It's getting harder and harder."
But the Queenslander admits he will take his time before deciding on his future.
He added: "Now it's about enjoying yourself and having a good time. Hopefully I won't be rushed into a decision. It'd be nice to sit back, reflect and see where I am."
Brad Hodge makes his final appearance of the season for Lancashire this evening before heading to Australia.
