Rovers trip to Doncaster Rovers next week has been postponed, with a re-arranged date announced for next month.

Tony Mowbray's side were due to travel to the Keepmoat Stadium on March 24 but Rovers' request for the game to be rearranged has been granted by the EFL.

That's because three players have been called up for their respective countries, while Darragh Lenihan and Derrick Williams are in the provisional Republic of Ireland squad.

The Doncaster game will now take place on Tuesday, April 24, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm.

Rovers' promotion rivals Shrewsbury Town and Wigan Athletic are also in action on that night, with the Shrews hosting Peterborough and the Latics travelling to Bristol Rovers.

Jayson Leutwiler (Canada), Charlie Mulgrew (Scotland) and Corry Evans (Northern Ireland) were all called by up their respective countries on Monday.

Canada face New Zealand on March 24, the same date as Northern Ireland host South Korea.

Scotland are in action on March 23 against Costa Rica before travelling to Hungary on March 27, two days before Rovers host Bradford in League One.

If Lenihan and Williams make the final cut for the Ireland squad, Martin O'Neill's men face Turkey on Friday, March 23.
