Sheffield United boss Bryan Robson has confirmed he is interested in signing Ex-Rover James Beattie.
The Blades, preparing for their return to the Championship, have been linked with the former Southampton player recently.
And Robson has confirmed a £4million bid has been made for the 29-year-old striker, who was also a reported target for Rovers boss Mark Hughes.
