CLARETS boss Steve Cotterill was more than satisfied with his side's efforts in the 2-0 win over Leeds on Saturday.

Cotterill was particularly happy to see two of his front men get their name on the scoresheet again and generally with the football his side were able to play.

But the Clarets chief did feel there was work to be done at the back.

He said: "I was pleased to get the win, because we always turn up to win. Other than that it was just the way we played. We played some good football.

"The pitch is still a little bit sticky but I thought we passed the ball well.

"And even when we made the changes we did well. Sometimes when you make a lot of chances it can disrupt you but it didn't really and I was pleased with everybody.

"It's always good for the strikers to score and we hope they can keep finding the net as they did today. I was pleased for Kyle Lafferty to get a run-out because he's been a bit starved of football recently."

He added: "I was happy with the clean sheet but, having said that, I don't think we deserved to keep one. I thought it was more luck than judgement.

"But we're changing things around so much at the moment and it's been a bit stop-start with a few injuries."
