Franny Jeffers grabbed a goal in Blackburn Rovers reserves' 4-0 win at Bamber Bridge last night.
The former Arsenal and Everton striker scored with a neat finish from the edge of the area, but the real star of the show was Paul Gallagher who scored two wonder goals.
Alan Judge was also on target in a comfortable win for a strong reserves side which also included Sergio Peter and Zurab Khizanishvili.
The game was a good workout for Jeffers who was left out of Rovers' Intertoto Cup squad at the weekend and who recently turned down a transfer to Ipswich Town.
