ACCRINGTON Stanley midfielder Jordan Clark has signed a contract extension which will see him stay at the Wham Stadium for the next two seasons.
The former Shrewsbury and Hyde United winger arrived on an initial one-year deal last summer and has made 50 appearance for the club, scoring three goals including one in the FA Cup first round win over Bradford City in November.
The 23-year-old, who was born in Barnsley and started his career with his home town club, is now set to play a major part in the Reds' quest to secure League Two promotion this campaign after signing the long-term agreement.
Stanley boss John Coleman said: βI am delighted Jordan has signed a new deal. He came to us at the start of last season and has worked hard to earn his place in the first team.
βHe scored three goals and will be hoping to increase his goal tally this season while providing a good number of assists.
"He is a lively and important member of the squad.β
