BLACKBURN Rovers have added a fourth friendly to their pre-season programme.
Rovers will travel to face York City on Tuesday, July 18 as part of their preparations for the 2017/18 season. Kick-off will be 7.30pm.
York were relegated from the National League in 2016/17, but bounced back from that disappointment to win the FA Trophy at Wembley against Macclesfield Town last weekend.
Rovers played six friendlies last season, and the club announced further pre-season fixtures will be confirmed in due course.
The friendlies will start at Barrow on Friday, July 8 (3pm) with Rovers travelling to the Furness Building Society Stadium to face the National League side who finished seventh last season.
The York friendly is followed by a trip to League Two Morecambe on Friday, July 21 (7.30pm). The two sides also met at the Globe Arena last summer, playing out a 0-0 draw.
The final date, as things stand, sees Rovers face League Two side Grimsby Town at Blundell Park on Tuesday, July 25 (7.30pm). The Mariners finished their first season back in the Football League in 14th place.
