BLACKBURN Rovers have confirmed their English Football League Cup first-round tie away to Mansfield Town will take place on Tuesday, August 9 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Tickets bought in advance will cost £10 for adults and £5 for over-60s and under-17s.
Tickets bought on the night will increase in cost to £12 for adults and £6 for under-17s.
It will be the first competitive meeting between the clubs since April 5, 1980.
That day a goal from Duncan McKenzie secured a seventh straight success for Howard Kendall’s Rovers, who would go to win promotion from Division Three.
Meanwhile, Rovers Under-21s' pre-season friendly against Trafford FC, at Shawe View, Flixton, has been moved forward to Friday, August 5 (7.45pm kick-off).
