Tottenham Hotspur manager Martin Jol is reported to be lining up a fresh move for Blackburn Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen.
Jol has admired the Norwegian for some time and he tried to sign him last summer in a £5million deal, but Rovers rebuffed those overtures.
Now Jol is considering testing Rovers' resolve by offering double that, but the club are adamant Pedersen is going nowhere.
Rovers have also distanced themselves from speculation linking them with a move for Derby County's midfield protégé Giles Barnes.
