GREAT Harwood will bid to give their title chances a boost as they face champions Clitheroe at The Cliffe tomorrow.
With two defeats to their name already, Paul Houldsworth's side will be hoping to build on their crushing win over Read in the Ramsbottom Cup last weekend by turning over the champions.
But New Zealand opener Michael Papps, who has been in imperious form so far, will be hoping to get the champions back to winning ways after they were beaten by Padiham in the cup.
Early leaders Baxenden will be hoping to continue their fantastic start to the season as they host struggling Cherry Tree, with title rivals Padiham travelling to Applegarth to face Earby.
Blackburn Northern's pro Dervindra Bundela is still in India so they will hope to have Curram Butt as their paid man for the visit of Oswaldtwistle Immanuel, whose professional Ahmer Saeed has hit back-to-back fifties in his first two knocks.
Saturday's fixtures: Baxenden v Cherry Tree, Blackburn Northern v Oswaldtwistle Immanuel, Earby v Padiham, Great Harwood v Clitheroe, Read v Settle, Ribblesdale Wanderers v Barnoldswick, Whalley v Edenfield.
