NEW York City boss Jackie McNamara will face Accrington Stanley in his first game in charge since replacing former Burnley assistant boss Russ Wilcox at the Minstermen.
McNamara takes over with the club 22nd in League Two after taking just two points from their last eight games ahead of this weekend's FA Cup first round trip to in-form Stanley.
The former Celtic and Scotland defender will be joined at Bootham Crescent by former Scotland team-mate Simon Donnelly, who becomes his assistant for a third time.
McNamara began his managerial career with Partick Thistle and the club were second in the Scottish First Division in January 2013 when he left to take the vacant position at Dundee United.
The 42-year-old parted company with the Tannadice side in September after a poor start to the season.
