Andy Gray scored his first goal since November as Burnley secured their fourth win in five matches against Norwich.
Ade Akinbiyi's header gave the Clarets a half-time lead before Gray, who endured a two-month spell on the sidelines after picking up a foot problem in the 2-1 win over Leeds in November, and Wade Elliott added the gloss with two goals in the final minutes.
Akinbiyi was recalled to the home side's line-up as on-loan Norwich man Paul McVeigh was ineligible against his parent club and the striker marked his return with a trademark header for his third of the season in the 30th minute.
Two goals in three minutes from Gray and then Elliott, who added a third in the 89th minute, were enough to take the hosts up one place to 16th in the Championship.
