a resurgent Clitheroe continued their run of great form as they dominated their UniBond Division 1 fixture with Brigg.
Former Stanley player Joel Byrom gave the Blues the lead on 16 minutes with a curling free kick from the edge of the area.
Lenny Reed doubled Clitheroe's advantage on 21 minutes with a right-footed drive from 25 yards.
And just before the break, Chris Ward put Clitheroe into cruise control with a third.
The Blues wasted a host of great chances after the interval and Brigg got a late consolation through Grimes.
