JORDAN Rhodes will lead the line for Blackburn Rovers in tonight’s huge FA Cup quarter-final replay with Liverpool at a sold-out Ewood Park.

Rudy Gestede acted as Rovers’ lone frontman in the initial 0-0 draw between the teams at Anfield a month ago.

But Gestede is fit enough only for a place on an inexperienced bench after coming off in Saturday’s 3-0 Championship win at Leeds United with a tight hamstring.

The towering targetman is one of 11 first-team players unavailable to Rovers boss Gary Bowyer either through injury or ineligibility.

Also among Bowyer’s substitutes is 17-year-old right-back Ryan Nyambe, who was only handed a squad number this week – 24- having never featured in a first-team squad before.

Keeper Simon Eastwood, who has kept goal for Rovers throughout their run to the last eight, starts after recovering from a knock he sustained in training on Friday.

And also fit to play is winger Craig Conway who has missed the last four matches with a hamstring strain.

Liverpool are without the suspended Steven Gerrard, Martin Skrtel and Emre Can and the injured Adam Lallana and Mario Balotelli.

They have made three changes to the side that started their 4-1 Premier League loss at Arsenal on Saturday.

England internationals Glen Johnson and Daniel Sturridge are recalled alongside £20m summer signing Dejan Lovren with Lazar Markovic, Kolo Toure and the banned Can the men to miss out.

Rovers: Eastwood, Henley, Baptiste, Kilgallon, Olsson, Conway, Williamson, Evans, Cairney, Marshall, Rhodes. Subs: Steele, Spurr, Songo'o, Nyambe, Lenihan, Mahoney, Gestede.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Lovren, Sakho, Lucas, Allen, Henderson, Moreno, Sterling, Coutinho, Sturridge. Subs: Jones, Toure, Lambert, Manquillo, Borini, Brannagan, Markovic.
