IT might be freezing back home in England but it's pretty cold too here in Spain!

We've been out here since Sunday and although the sun is out, there's no chance of getting a tan. I think it's been minus six degrees!

We're out here because we've not got a game on Saturday and it's an opportunity to get all the lads together.

Trips like this can be important and it's good for the lads - to get them away for a bit of team-bonding.

We had a training game yesterday against Espanyol reserves and we've been spending quite a bit of our time training. All the lads are enjoying their time together and that's been good.

On Monday, we went for a jog in the morning and in the afternoon we met up again and some took a dip in the Mediterranean Sea. We went for another jog and we also did a few weights in the gym.

It was pretty much a similar situation on Tuesday. Basically, we are just ticking over really and doing as much as we can in the short time we are here, before we fly back home.

Peter Cavanagh didn't take any part in the training game. It's a bit too early for him at the moment. He just needs to continue to build the muscle around his knee.

He's not far away, though, and we are hoping he will be back for in the next 10 days to a fortnight.

He's our captain and an important part of our team, plus he gives us a lot of experience. He's been out for a long time, so it will be great to have Peter back.

Rommy Boco is looking extremenly good in training. He's a fit lad anyway so it's not going to take him too long to get back to his very best.

Obviously, John (Coleman) has been very busy while he's been out here. We are looking to bring in players before the transfer window shuts, but there is nothing to report just yet.
