CHORLEY Ladies returned to winning ways and maintained their unbeaten run at home in the league with a 2-1 victory over Morecambe.

After a goalless first half, Chorley began to create chances after the break and Ruth Harrison was denied when her long range effort was well saved by the visiting keeper.

But the Shrimps keeper was unable to stop another long range effort from Vicky Coope.

However the visitors were back on level terms following a rapid counter attack. But with time ticking away, Chorley sealed victory when Harrison headed home a Coope corner.
