BURNLEY goalkeeper Alex Cisak has today signed a new two-year deal with the Clarets.
The 25-year-old signed on a free transfer from Oldham Athletic in the summer of 2013, and went on to make his debut from the bench against Brighton in August after Tom Heaton was controversially sent off.
Having started his career with Leicester City, Cisak first made a name for himself in East Lancashire with Accrington Stanley during the Reds' play-off season of 2010/11.
The former Australia Under 20 international kept Ian Dunbavin out of the side for the bulk of the campaign as he made 25 appearances, including 21 starts in League Two, earning him a move to Boundary Park the following summer.
Cisak arrived at Turf Moor just over a year ago as Burnley manager Sean Dyche overhauled his goalkeeping pool, which included the arrival of first choice keeper Heaton on a free transfer from Bristol City.
Matthew Gilks was added to the pack this summer following the end of his Blackpool contract.
