Longshaw B’s Jonny Hannan is the new undisputed Blackburn And Darwen large tables snooker champion after beating Jonathon Wignall 5-4 in a tensely fought final at Longshaw SSC.
The family now hold both the small tables title and large tables following dad Tommy’s recent title success at Rishton Golf Club.
Meanwhile, things are looking good for the forthcoming season as more teams are keen to join the league.
Confirmed new entries are St Pauls WMC, Darwen Golf Club, Pot Black Snooker Club and Rishton Con Club. Hollins Grove Con Club in Darwen will also be joining if they can get a table installed in time.
Interest has also been expressed by three other venues but they have yet to commit.
The new season isn’t far away now and the annual general meeting is at Blackburn Golf Club on August 27.
