Darwen hit by top Form

FORMBY completed the league double over AFC Darwen to keep the pressure on Nelson at the top of NWCL Division One.

And it was Jason Carey who did the damage with two first half goals.

Carey opened the scoring after nine minutes then added a second just before the half hour mark.

Formby, who beat Darwen 5-2 at the WEC Anchor Ground in September, remain three points behind leaders Nelson.
