HASLINGDEN rider Tom Carne is gearing up for his debut season in the Triumph Triple Challenge.
Carne won the 125GP class of the British Motostar Championship last year and then earned his step up to the Triple Challenge after winning the Triumph Young Guns scholarship scheme.
The 20-year-old will test at Donington before the season starts at Brands Hatch over the Easter weekend.
Carne said: “I am really looking forward to this new season. With a new bike and a new class it will be a good learning year.
“But with the fire in my belly I already have the championship in my sights and I never give up until I have achieved my goal.”
The Triumph Triple Challenge will also be a wild card for this year’s World Superbike Championship round at Donington on May 25, giving Carne the opportunity to share the paddock with some of the world’s best riders.
Carne would like to thank his sponsors who have committed to supporting him for the forthcoming season.
