ROSSENDALE return to action at the weekend as they aim to complete a league double over Morley.

Despite Dale’s incredible start to the season, where they won their opening 11 games, the Marl Pits have only enjoyed home and away success against two teams so far – Firwood Waterloo and Bradford and Bingley.

Having beaten Morley at home 27-15 in their first National League Three encounter, Dale will now be looking to complete the double on the road.

Blackburn, fresh from their narrow win at Tarleton on Saturday, will be looking to cement second spot in North Lancs/Cumbria when they travel to Keswick.

Burn are currently one point ahead of third-placed Eccles who go to Upper Eden.

In North Lancs One, Burnley’s unbeaten run will be put to the test when they host leaders De La Salle.

Burnley have won their last six matches to rise to fourth in the table.

In North Lancs Two, Colne and Nelson and Pendle Phoenix meet in a local derby at Holt House looking to get back to action after their matches were postponed at the weekend.

Colne’s home clash with Broughton was called off after the visitors failed to get a team out while Pendle’s match with Newton-le-Willows was also called off.

Colne, in seventh, are the current East Lancashire top dogs in the division but Pendle, two places and two points behind, could go above them should they win on Saturday.

Clitheroe have won two of their last three matches – against fellow strugglers Broughton and, most recently Carnforth – have a sterner test when league leaders North Manchester come to Littlemoor.
