CHORLEY can extend their lead at the top of the Evo-Stik League Premier Division to five points if they beat struggling Frickley Athletic at Victory Park tonight. (7.45pm).

The Magpies have a two point lead over Skelmersdale United and two games in hand – the first of which is tonight’s visit of a Frickley side who begin the day four points above the drop zone.

Chorley boss Garry Flitcroft will hope to recall striker James Dean after he missed the weekend win at Kings Lynn Town due to illness.

Elsewhere, AFC Darwen on cup duty as they attempt to play a delayed First Division Challenge Cup quarter final tie at Leek CSOB (7.45pm).
