PADIHAM exited the FA Cup at the first qualifying round stage when they lost 3-1 to Northern League side Penrith.
The Storks struggled right from the start to get a grip on the game and trailed on the half hour mark when Steven Rigg headed in a Curtis Wood corner.
They fell 2-0 behind five minutes before half time after another corner caused more problems in the Storks area and this time Martyn Coleman headed home.
After the break, the Storks still failed to up their game and on 77 minutes the tie was effectively over when Penrith substitute Philip Storey scored with his first touch to give the home side a 3-0 lead.
Kieron Pickup scored a consolation on 90 minutes after a Mark Sharples corner was flicked on for Pickup to turn in at the back post.
Padiham travel to Mossley for their rearranged Dootson Sports Cup tie tomorrow.
