ACCRINGTON Stanley have secured Laurence Wilson on a 12-month contract.
The left sided player, who can play at full back or in midfield, put pen to paper on a new deal this morning.
The 26-year-old joined the Reds on a free transfer in January after leaving Rotherham by mutual consent in November.
The former Chester and Morecambe star went on to make 19 appearances and was an important figure in Stanley’s fight for League Two survival.
He becomes one of new manager James Beattie’s first signings.
"I had a good chat with the gaffer and Paul Stevenson and am delighted to sign up for them,” said Wilson.
“We had a great end to last season and I am really excited about what we can do next year."
