CLITHEROE have been boosted by the news that James Dean is to sign a two year contract - but he will not be facing Gresley Rovers tomorrow as he is still suspended.
Manager Chris Stammers said: "I think he deserves it. He seems to be a player that a lot of clubs are talking about."
Stammers was also hoping to sign 19-year-old centre half Shaun Nightengale, who was due to put pen to paper at training last night.
Paul Lamb is struggling for the trip to Gresley while Simon Garner (shoulder) and Ross Baines (knee) are both rated doubtful.
