ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman has snapped up former Rochdale striker Leighton McGivern ahead of tomorrow's FA Cup clash with Mansfield Town.
The 22-year-old impressed the Reds boss during a recent trial and has agreed non-contract terms.
"He's a decent forward, who has pace," Coleman said.
"He's perhaps lost his way a little bit since leaving Rochdale but he's young enough to get back and hopefully he can do well with us."
McGivern, who has been at Conference North side Vauxhall Motors, is available for selection tomorrow.
