BLACKBURN Rovers boss Henning Berg admitted his side's defending was not good enough as they crashed 4-1 at home to Championship leaders Cardiff City tonight.

Josh King had cancelled out Mark Hudson's opener but former Rovers striker Craig Bellamy put Cardiff back in front before further goals from Joe Mason and Kim Bo-Kyung.

"We could have defended better," Berg said.

"In terms of shots on goal we had more but they were a bit more experienced and a bit more clever.

"They had a bit more strength and scored two gosls from set plays, one direct from a flick-on and one when we mad a mistake coming out from the back.

"Overall they were a bit more experienced than us and had better finishing."
