MATT Derbyshire and Joe Garner both grabbed hat-tricks as Blackburn Rovers Reserves ran riot in the Pontin's Holiday Cup at Christie Park last night.
Derbyshire opened the scoring on three minutes before Keith Treacy set up the second for Eddie Nolan.
Garner capitalised on a mistake by keeper Peter Kennedy, then another Garner effort - from another Treacy assist - made it 4-0 at the break.
Two more from Derbyshire in the second half and a Garner penalty completed the rout The win puts Rovers top their group, with their next match in this competition against Chester City on 27 November at Christie Park.
