Spliff, cannabis, or whatever, is the drug that's on everybody's lips.
Or perhaps I should rephrase that, at the moment it's the smoke that doesn't incur the wrath of the law.
For years I have been of the thinking that maybe drugs should be decriminalised and then sold only in licensed drug stores or chemists, where the quality and strength could be properly controlled.
That would do away with the pushers and criminal element that trade on the vulnerable young.
I've never taken drugs, but that's, I suppose, because i don't like the thought of not being in control.
Talking of control, perhaps they could regain it regarding alcohol by putting the retail sale back to the off licences' and restricting hours.
