A MAN has been taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg after coming off his motorbike.
The incident happened on moorland above Edenfield.
The 21-year-old was found and rescued by 15 volunteers from the Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team, working alongside seven staff from the North West Ambulance Service's HART team.
The man, who is from Yorkshire and was out with friends when the incident happened, was stretchered in a Polaris buggy following the incident at around 3.10pm yesterday.
A spokesman for the rescue team said the man was conscious and talking at the scene.
