A DRUG dealer is awaiting sentence after confessing to running a cannabis farm at a £745,000 luxury house in Rossendale.
Shahzad Hussain, 40, from Rochdale, appeared before Burnley Crown Court in connection with the discovery of a £160,000 growing operation at a seven-bedroom property, off Oakenshaw Avenue, Whitworth. Hussain admitted possession with intent to supply cannabis, and production of cannabis, and was remanded on bail until July 12, for pre-sentence reports.
Detectives say they found a sophisicated hydroponic growing system, and around 400 plants, when they raided the house last November.
