THOUSANDS of ‘designer' water bottles produced by a specialist company are finding their way on to the dining tables of top restaurants, including those of Jamie Oliver.

Simonstone-based Seaways Services supplies printed bottles with bespoke branding to two of the UK’s largest water filtration experts, PHS Waterlogic and Eau de Vie.

Bottles printed by Seaways, founded in 1987, are sent to hundreds of elite restaurants and hotels by Eau de Vie, including The Wolseley, Jamie Oliver’s establishments, Hilton and Park Plaza hotels, and Heathrow Terminal 5.

Jim Jiwany, product manager at Eau de Vie, said: “Branding bottles with our customers’ logos is an important part of what we do.

“We work with hundreds of top restaurants and rely on Seaways to provide us with great quality products.”

PHS Waterlogic, the UK’s largest supplier of water coolers, provides branded bottles to multi-national clients like Google, and Nationwide, for conferencing and banqueting, as well as schools and universities across the country.

Tim Burfoot, logistics manager at PHS, said: “We’ve been working with Seaways since last year after looking for a consistent supplier who could provide us with small runs.

“We’re very fortunate they can turn jobs round in the timescales we agree with our customers, to a quality we're happy with. There’s not much use selling our machines without the branded bottles to support it.

“They’re a strong selling point for us.”

Seaways is a family firm, with third generation members making up the 25-strong team.

Jayne Shaw, managing director of Seaways Services, said: “We print everything here in Simonstone, so we can offer flexibility to clients in terms of deadlines and smaller print runs.”
