POLICE found more than £35,000 or cannabis on a raid at a farm.
Officers discovered 89 plants in a garage and large shed in Mellor Lane, Mellor, when they raided the property yesterday morning.
A 65-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis.
Det Insp Mark Winstanley said: “We were acting on information from members of the public.
“We had a lot of reports from people who had noticed a strong smell of cannabis coming from the address.”
