PENDLE Council remains under no overall control with the Tories and Labour now deadlocked with 18 councillors each.

There are 49 councillors in Pendle and the present composition of the council is 18 Conservative; 18 Labour; 12 Liberal Democrats and one British National Party.

Party leaders will negotiate over the next few days in order to thrash out who leads the administration.
