A YOUNG spa operator in East Lancashire is set to share the secrets of her success with a TV audience.
Olivia Gordon, 28, faced a battle to secure funding for the launch of Liv Spa, which is now based at the Oaks Hotel, in Colne Road, Reedley.
And her struggle with red tape, before she opened for business just before Christmas, is set to feature on BBC Two’s Working Lunch tomorrow.
Olivia said that she had unsuccessfully applied for funding from a host of different initiatives and tried to secure various business grants.
But she persevered, now has a full appointments book and is looking for ways to expand.
She added: “I am always on the lookout for new treatments and have recently attended a Hopi ear candle course and am also booked on a Lava shell therapy course.
“It has just been launched in Harrods and Harvey Nichols and is said to be the treatment of 2010.”
