A GROUP of friends have celebrated Burnley’s promotion to the Premier League by completing a Three Stadium Walk for charity.
Tony Shufflebottom, Gary Pickard and Paul Blackburn, set off from Ewood Park, in Blackburn and walked to Accrington Stanley’s Crown Ground.
The trio then carried on to Turf Moor, the home of the Clarets and raised £767 for Pendleside Hospice, in Colne Road, Reedley.
The money was handed over to fundraising manager Kaye Bartle at Big T’s Diner, in Rossendale Road, Burnley, which is run by Tony Shufflebottom and his partner Lesley.
