MOTORISTS in Pendle have been warned about leaving car keys on show after two vehicles worth nearly £40,000 were taken in a raid.
Thieves broke into a home in Eskdale Close, Reedley, through an insecure back window between 1am and 6am on Monday.
They then stole the keys to a Range Rover and silver Audi TT convertible, parked outside and drove off in the cars, valued at £39, 450.
Sergeant Keith Beckley said keys should not be left in a visible place near doors.
The gang responsible for the theft are believed to have come from either Greater Manchester or Yorkshire.
