Duane Stott
Plumber Duane Stott, from Laneshawbridge, scooped top spot in a British Plumbing Employers' Council (BPEC) competition.
The 18 year old won the copper pipe section of the regional BPEC competition, and will now go into the national finals held at Derby College.
His employer, Stephen Riley Plumbing, gave Duane the time off for extra tuition at Accrington and Rossendale College and to compete.
