POLICE from across Lancashire broke up an illegal party at a well-known beauty spot.

12 people were issued with coronavirus fines for £200 and also two males were dealt with for being in possession of cannabis.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "Police from around the County have attended and broke up an illegal rave in Healey Nab Quarry.

"The area is littered with bottles and NO2 capsules (nitrous oxide) and other various rubbish.

"12 Covid breach tickets were issued and two males were dealt with for possession of cannabis."
