A SERIES of chimney fires took place throughout Hyndburn on Saturday.
Firefighters were called to Hope Street in Accrington at 10pm and used rods to extinguish the fire.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation, there was little damage caused to the house.
The Victoria Hotel pub in Manchester Road, Accrington was closed for a few hours on Saturday afternoon after is chimney caught fire.
No one suffered any injuries.
Fire crews were also called to Glebe Street in Great Harwood at 3.35pm to put out a fire in a chimney, no one was injured.
The incidents are not thought to be connected.
