CCTV images of a man being sought in connection with an armed robbery at a newsagents have been released by Lancashire Police.
The incident in Chorley happened shortly before 10pm on Friday, January 22, when a man entered the Londis shop in Eaves Lane and approached a member of staff who was behind the till.
The police said that a man threatened them with a knife and told to open the till.
The police added that £200 was taken.
The man being sought in connection with the incident has been described as white and was wearing a dark jacket with white speckles on the hood, snood and gloves.
DC Dom Webster from South CID said: “This was a terrifying incident for the member of staff who was threatened with a knife while she was alone in the shop.
"We are keen to trace the man pictured in the CCTV images and if anyone has any information that could assist with our investigation then I would urge them to get in touch.”
