A THEATRE group which has had a turbulent few months will be showcasing some of its members' talents when they perform at this year's Bacup and Stacksteads Carnival on Sunday.
Bacup Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society and BYTES, the youth theatre, are thrilled to have been asked to perform in the sunken garden in Stubbylee Park this Sunday at 1pm.
MORE TOP STORIES:
The groups will be taking visitors on a trip through some of our favourite songs in various musicals and of course a classic from the 1940's.
The Royal Court Theatre, where the groups are based, was forced to close over unpaid utility bills last month.
Nick Daye, committee member, said: "We really hope to see you all there so that we can thank you all personally for all the support, good wishes and community spirit that has been shown to us over the last few difficult weeks.
"Please come and join us as we fly over the rainbow, consider yourself very much part of our family."
