A SEARCH has been launched for an Accrington-man after he didn’t turn up to work for three days.
Trevor Whitehead, 50, was reported missing since Wednesday, April 9, after failing to turn up to work.
Lancashire Police, teams from Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue and the police helicopter have been searching since the weekend for Mr Whitehead.
Comments have already started to be left by concerned friends on Accrington Police’s Facebook page.
A co-worker contacted a family member who reported him missing to the police after Mr Whitehead didn’t turn up for work.
A police spokesman said: “Mr Whitehead was reported missing from his home address last week.

“A concerned co-worker contacted a family member after he failed to turn up at work for three days.
“Investigations have been carried out every day since he was reported missing.
“We are appealing for anyone who has any information on his whereabouts to come forward and contact us on 101.”
