PUBS and clubs which excel at service and safety will be recognised under a new council scheme.
Hyndburn Council has launched a ‘Best Bar None’ accreditation scheme to boost Hyndburn’s night-time economy.
The scheme will also include a radio scheme to help door staff in Accrington better communicate with each other, and police.
The scheme is being led by Accrington bar Level One, which has been awarded the title of the borough’s safest bar by police after implementing a number of schemes.
